      1. HELMET OF SALVATION:
      For protection of my mind and thinking against the lies of the devil. That we respond today, under all circumstances out of my mouth and in my actions according to Your Word.
      2. BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS:
      For the protection of our emotions and heart, so that we will be able to respond spiritually and not emotionally!
      3. loins girt about with truth:
      That we may be reminded that we are children of Christ and he is in control of my Life.
      4. feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace:
      That wherever we go that we may be available to be used as an instrument of peace.
      5. SHIELD OF FAITH:
      To be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one. To walk in faith trusting in God and not in ourselves.
      6. SWORD OF THE SPIRIT:
      That I speak your word with strength and accuracy. Let it flow from my inner most being to penetrate and abolish the enemy.

    1. Faith - reliance upon Christ for salvation
      Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
    2. Virtue - manliness (valor), i.e. excellence
      Phi 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
    3. Knowledge - the act of knowing Pro 1:2-9
      Pro 1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
      Pro 1:3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
      Pro 1:4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion
      Pro 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
      Pro 1:6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
      Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
      Pro 1:8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
      Pro 1:9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
    4. Temperance - self control Gal 5:22-23

    5. Patience - cheerful (or hopeful) endurance, constancy
      Luk 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
      Jam 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
      Jam 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
    6. Godliness - piety, religious, devout, specially the gospel scheme
      1Ti 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
      1Ti 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
      1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
    7. Brotherly kindness - fond of brethren
      Gal 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
    8. Charity - love, affection or benevolence
      Col 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

      1TI 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

      1Pe 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
